I woke up this morning choosing to have a great day! Knowing I wanted all things to go my way. I didn't anticipate the problems that would try to bring me down Try to turn my smile into a frown. I had made my choice though and I decided this day could still be, A wonderful day, the decision was still up to me!

You must decide the kind of life you want to live,
Only you can decide how much you want to give.
How much of your heart you want to share,
How much you want to show people you care.
But the best way to live is to give the best of you,
To show who you are in all you do.

I'm amazed at how happy each of us can be,
If we just focus on blessings we can and cannot see.
Miracles are around us all,
Some are great and some are small,
But all are meant to show us the beauty of everything,
And many more blessings to us bring.

Always remember how special you are
You were made to be a shining star.
To shine and always be your best,
To show your wonder to all the rest.
To be an inspiration to all those around you,
And be an exemplary example in all you do.

Life doesn't always do what we expect it to,
So we should plan ahead and know just what we'll do.
We should plan to smile & hold our heads high,
We should give life our all & always try,
To live the biggest life we can each day,
So we will never have to say,
I wish I'd lived more yesterday.

I hear the rain on my window and it makes me smile,
Brings back happy memories from when I was a child.
Memories of happy times I spent with you,
Special memories of time spent together & things we would do.
My dear mother, how I miss the time we spent together,
So I'll cherish the memories I have forever.

I Have a Choice

I have a choice to be happy or be sad,
I have a choice to be grateful or be mad.
Whatever the situation in my life may be,
The only one who can choose my attitude is me!
